I cannot agree with you more.  I have tried to coax North American Auspiteers to jump on board here, but you can see that I have not been terribly successful to date. Using an Auspit is a unique way of approaching outdoor cooking and in many ways we are all pioneers. I look forward to learning from the collective experience and know others can benefit from our collective knowledge. 

Your appeal to Aussies has been passed on to the Head Chief Auspiteer (Auspit's creator in Australia) and hopefully he can help guide our Aussie brethren to this forum.  There are thousands of them and I bet we'd have some good fun once they join (or make?) the party.   

In the meantime, I appreciate your patience as we work towards a critical mass of participants.
